Manchester United have won their last seven league games, scoring at least twice in each match. Arsenal have never scored more than one goal in a Premier League game at Old Trafford. United have scored either no goals or two goals in their last seven Premier League home games against Arsenal. Arsenal have conceded eight goals in their last two league games against Big Four sides. Manchester United have won only one of their five games against Big Four rivals this season. Wayne Rooney has scored five goals against Arsenal, only against four clubs has he been more prolific.

Hull have not won away at Bolton since March 1935. The Tigers have played 16 games there subsequently without a win. Hull have mustered a total of only one goal in their last six away games at Bolton. The Trotters have only lost one of their last seven Premier League games at the Reebok Stadium. Hull would be in eighth place if only away games counted this season. Bolton have taken 23 of their 40 points this season against sides currently in the bottom eight. Hull have won only three of their 13 games against sides currently in the bottom eight this season.

In 27 Premier League matches against Everton, West Ham have never scored more than two goals in a game against the Toffees. The Hammers have only scored 22 goals in those 27 games. Everton have lost only one of their last 12 Premier League home games against West Ham. In their last 10 Premier League games at Goodison Park, Everton have leaked a total of only four goals. West Ham have scored only three goals in six away games in the north west this season. Everton are unbeaten at home against London sides this season but have drawn three of the four games.

Villa have scored 30 goals away at Middlesbrough, at least nine more than at any other Premier League ground. Villa’s win percentage of 62% away at Boro is the highest figure against any team they have played more than 20 times in the Premier League. Villa have scored at least once in their last eight Premier League games against Middlesbrough. Boro have taken more points (eight) from their last 10 games than Villa (seven). Stewart Downing has now hit 81 shots this season (including blocked) without scoring, more than any other Premier League player. Villa’s win percentage with Martin Laursen in the team this season is 58%. Without the calm Dane it is just 29%.

If this game ends 0-0 then Fulham will set an all-time English top division record of goalless draws away from home in a single season. They have seven this season, level with Liverpool in 1991-92. The Premier League games between these sides at St James’ Park have averaged 2.86 goals per game. Newcastle have scored at least once in 14 of their 15 Premier League games against the Whites. Without Obafemi Martins, Newcastle have won only two of 14 Premier League games this season. Newcastle’s last six Premier League wins have seen them score two goals or more. Fulham have lost only four of their last 13 Premier League away matches.

Spurs have won eight of their last nine Premier League games against the Citizens. For the last four seasons at White Hart Lane this fixture has ended 2-1 to Tottenham. Jermain Defoe and Robbie Keane have two goals apiece in those four 2-1 games. Since the Premier League began, Spurs have won eight of their 11 home games with City. Spurs have won their last five home games in the top-flight, keeping a clean sheet in six, they have not won six in a row since December 2006. City have managed only three goals in their last eight Premier League road trips.

West Bromwich Albion have never scored against Liverpool in seven Premier League games against them. Liverpool have managed 22 goals in their seven Premier League games against the Baggies. Liverpool have scored more goals this season (72) than in any previous Premier League campaign, and they have two games left to extend this. Despite being bottom of the table, this is WBA’s best ever performance after 36 games in a Premier League season. Fernando Torres has scored five braces of goals this season in the Premier League.

Chelsea have lost five Premier League home games to Blackburn, only Arsenal have won more often at Stamford Bridge since 1992. Chelsea’s win percentage of 21% at home to Blackburn is their lowest against any side with more than two seasons in the Premier League. But Blackburn have failed to score in three of their last four league games at Chelsea and have not won there since Ken Bates was chairman (February 2003). Overall, Blackburn have now gone 497 minutes without a goal against Chelsea in the Premier League. Everton and Hull are the only Premier League away teams to keep a clean sheet at Stamford Bridge in 2009. Rovers have lost their last four top-flight away games in succession, conceding 12 goals in the process.

Portsmouth have won four of their five Premier League encounters with the Black Cats. Both of Portsmouth’s winning goals against Sunderland at Fratton Park in the Premier League have been penalties. All four goals scored in Premier League games between these sides on the south coast have come in the last 21 minutes. Sunderland have failed to score in their last six Premier League away games. Fellow north east strugglers Newcastle and Middlesbrough are the only home teams to fail to keep a clean sheet at home to the Black Cats in 2009. Tottenham, Manchester City and Bolton are the only away sides to fail to score at Fratton Park this season.
