Irish Poker Day One Report
It’s time for the greatest show in Irish poker! The superstars of poker have gathered for Europe’s longest-running and Ireland’s most prestigious tournament, with cards in the air at 2pm today. We’re expecting about 600 players, which will mean a prizepool within touching distance of Euro 2,000,000!
Last night the festival began with a Euro 200 + Euro 20 Super Satellite tournament to the Irish Open main event and a total of sixty-seven Euro 3,500 tickets were awarded after a long night of play.
Tomorrow morning’s update will contain details of the exact number in the field and a list of the top chipleaders at that point. Some of the big name professionals already registered include:
