Lions Roll Over, Then Come back with a ROAR!
Saturday’s first Lions Test in S.A. saw the World Champions dominate utterly in the first half. Thier set piece play was unstoppable from lineouts and the scrum made the Lions pack look, well like I could do better. However… after lunch the B&IL suddenly found their tune particularly in the middle of the park - punching great holes in the Boks midfield defences and not long after putting a couple of tries over. Suddenly at 72 minutes a heroic comeback looked not just possible but very likely! Despite the Boks holding on and getting the rub of a few good penalty decisions to help them out of the mire, the final score would have come as a relief and they went down as the ‘winners’ of that first test. I don;t think they’ll look forward to the second though as the Lions showed that you CAN play around, about and in-between them. Get all the betting at Ladbrokes, Paddypower or Boylesports.
