Premiership Betting Update - Lets The Chips Fall…

With the Premier League finally back up and running after the summer break the new look teams have shown their hands for the first time this season to shake up the pre-season betting.

Paddy Power’s market moves has seen Man City’s odds for the title, Drogba’s golden boot betting and Portsmouth relegation odds, amongst others, all cut following their weekend displays.

Premier League Betting Update

Premier League – whilst Liverpool have been eased from 10/3 to 4s, Arsenal’s six goals at Everton saw their odds come in from 8/1 to 11/2 with Man City now 13/2 from 12/1.

80/1 Spurs

w/o Big Four – Man City are now odds on to finish highest in the league without the Big Four (from Evens) with Spurs being cut from 7/2 to 3/1 after defeating Liverpool. Aston Villa’s unexpected defeat to Wigan has seen them drift to 10/1 from 13/2.

Top Four Finish – Spurs’ victory over Liverpool has seen their odds for a Top Four finish cut from 13/2 to 11/2.

Relegation Betting

Down at the other end Burnley are 4/9 from 4/7 for relegation with Portsmouth’s listless display seeing their odds come in from 5/2 to 6/5.

Top Scorer – Drogba’s double salvo cut his odds to be top scorer this season from 10/1 to 11/2.
